Now known as Pangu 8, it has already been updated to version number 1.0.1. This is an untethered iOS 8 Jailbreak and will work upon reboot. This is compatible with the following iPhone, iPad & iPod Models. iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, iPad Air 2, Air 1, Mini 3, Mini 2, Mini 1, 4, 3, 2, 1 and the iPod Touch 5th Generation. Firmwares 8.1, 8.0.2 and 8.0 are supported on all of these devices. This iOS 8 Jailbreak is so far only compatible with Windows operating systems.
Steps:
1. Plug in your device, I would recommend you update to the latest iOS 8.1 Firmware to enjoy all the fixes and latest firmware.
2. After downloading the files, drag them to your desktop and right click and run the Pangu app icon. Select ‘Run As Administrator’.
3. Uncheck the ‘PP’ icon on the lower left and select the blue button to Jailbreak iOS 8! It may be gray for some, you can still press it.
4. After it finishes, run WinSCP as administrator and locate your iP address of your iPhone in Settings, Wifi, “i”. Enter the iP into the host name on WinSCP
5. For User, enter ‘root’ and for password enter ‘alpine’.
6. Now navigate to the root folder and drag and drop the 2 .deb files into the root of your device.
7. Press ‘Control’ and ‘T’ on your keyboard within the WinSCP app to run a command. Paste both lines I provided above, make sure you paste the prep file first.
8. Done! You will get errors but all you need to do is reboot your device and you will have Cydia on your springboard.
